198th SWP Photo Walk: Bishan

Today, SWP Photo Walk was in Bishan. I was happy to see Jay, my co-host of the group, also joining the walk after a long time. Yesterday, both Theresa and Anastasia recommended that we check out this Bishan Park area. Even Lack was excited about the prospect of finding some beautiful Sakura trees blooming there, giving a Japanese aesthetic.

This week, Lack and I are taking part in the Holga Week, a global photography competition. We use Holga gear, film, digital, or lenses to create lo-fi images that give a Lomography vibe. For today’s shoot, I used my Holga 120 GN with a roll of expired Kodak Gold 200 film. I also had a modified Holga HL-N lens attached to my Fujifilm X-T4 with a Nikon-to-Fuji adapter. The modification that I did made the images rendered through the lens more painterly than I expected.
