165th SWP Photo Walk: City Plaza and Grandlink Square

Our 165th Photo Walk took an unexpected turn when we arrived at City Plaza around 8:00 AM, only to find the mall closed until 10:00 AM. But, as always, the streets had a story waiting for us. Instead of heading indoors, we wandered through the surrounding neighborhood, discovering pockets of character that are easy to miss on a normal day. From the textured façades near Grandlink Square to the quiet, lived in corners of the nearby streets, every turn offered something worth capturing. The light was kind, the colors were vibrant, and the atmosphere had a nostalgic charm that made the detour feel intentional.

As we wrapped up, we took a slow walk toward PLQ Mall, where the buzz of the modern city greeted us once again. Over a warm cup of coffee, we exchanged our favorite shots of the day, proof that sometimes the best photos happen when plans don’t.
